Post-Ticketing Service Fees
Post-ticketing service fees may apply when you request changes, cancellations, refunds, credits, exchanges, or special handling after your ticket has been issued. These fees are charged per passenger, per ticket, and are separate from any airline or supplier penalties.
Agent-Assisted Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Booking
The following fees may apply when customer support assists with a qualifying cancellation request made within 24 hours of booking.

Cancellation and Refunds Beyond 24 Hours
If your request is made after the first 24 hours, support fees may vary based on cabin type and whether the airline allows future credit or refund processing.

Changes to Existing Tickets
Exchange or reissue requests may involve a post-ticketing service fee in addition to any airline fare difference, penalty, or tax adjustment.

Requests That May Need Special Assistance
When airline rules allow it, we may assist with post-ticketing requests tied to situations such as:
- Death or bereavement requests
- Duplicate booking review
- Infant fare assistance
- Medical-related exceptions
- Military-related requests
- Name changes or name corrections
- No-show reinstatement review
- Routing changes
- Ticket validity requests
- Unaccompanied minor (UNMR) assistance
- Visa or Schengen visa issues
Important Notes
- All post-ticketing service fees apply per passenger, per ticket.
- These charges are in addition to any airline, supplier, tax, or fare-difference amounts.
- Post-ticketing service fees are generally non-refundable and may change without notice.
- Most airline tickets are non-refundable unless the fare rules and the supplier specifically allow a refund or credit.
- Refunds, future credits, and waiver approvals remain subject to airline fare rules and supplier policies.
- Special service requests are handled on a request basis only and may not be approved by the airline.
Important Note
The final amount due for any post-ticketing request will be the total quoted by our support team at the time of processing. That amount may include supplier penalties, fare differences, taxes, and the applicable 1800 SmartFares service fee.
